The promise

Your books are yours.

A money app knows a lot about its owner. Bujeto is built so that this knowledge stays with you.

What Bujeto does not do

  • Show ads, or include an advertising SDK.
  • Use analytics or tracking SDKs.
  • Sell your data, or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
  • Collect your location, your phone contacts or an advertising ID.

What Bujeto does

  • Stores the copy on your phone in encrypted storage.
  • Sends data over an encrypted connection. Each account can read and write only its own records.
  • Lets you export your records at any time.
  • Sends crash reports with financial values and personal identifiers removed, so that we can fix bugs.
  • Lets you delete your account and all its data, from the app or from the web.

The makers

Who builds Bujeto.

Bujeto is made by a small independent team. We do not sell advertising and we do not sell data, so the only thing we have to get right is the book itself.

We build the app with Claude Code, the coding agent from Anthropic. It helps with design reviews, new features, tests and release checks. This lets a very small team keep a careful standard for an app that holds financial records.
